Refunds and cancellation

This policy covers everything you buy from FirmGenie (Animesh Kumar, sole proprietor, GSTIN 19DDNPK8068R1Z9). Our prices are shown as "₹X + 18% GST": 18% GST is added on top at checkout. The same rules are in our Terms (firmgenie.in/terms#refunds).

The short version

• No refunds on any product. This covers plans, one-time setup fees, add-ons, domain and connection fees, done-for-you work, quote-only projects (custom websites, web apps, Android apps, WhatsApp automation, AI voice agents, ads management) and idea-validation tests.
• One exception: blueprints. Blueprints (PDF guides) have a 7-day, no-questions refund. Email animesh@firmgenie.in within 7 days of buying.
• We refund in full if we cancel, if we fail to deliver, or if you are charged twice by mistake.
• If something goes wrong on our side, we fix it, redo it, or move your booking to another date or batch, at no cost to you.

Cancelling a plan

• You can cancel any time: press "Cancel auto-renewal" under Billing in your website dashboard (you can turn it back on until the period ends), or email animesh@firmgenie.in from the email address on your account. We then stop sending renewal links; nothing is ever charged automatically. Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not refund what you have already paid.
• Your website and paid features stay live until the end of the period you already paid for. After that it stays online as the free site with the FirmGenie badge.
• If a period ends without payment (and you did not cancel), you get a 7-day grace period. After that your website goes back to the free site with the FirmGenie badge. We never delete your website for non-payment, and you can upgrade again at any time.
• When a paid plan ends, your own domain sends visitors to your free address, and it is disconnected from FirmGenie 30 days later (the domain itself stays yours).
• Plan fees for a month or year that has already started are not refunded.

One-time setup fee and add-ons

• The one-time setup fee and plan fees are non-refundable.
• One-time add-ons (for example Google Business Profile setup, SEO setup, extra changes or an Android app build) are non-refundable.
• If something goes wrong on our side, we fix it or redo it at no cost.

Deep-dive audit

• A Deep-dive audit is delivered within 48 hours of payment. If we fail to deliver it within 48 hours, you get a full refund: email animesh@firmgenie.in with your order id. Once it is delivered, it is not refundable.

Domains

• A domain registration fee is not refundable once the domain has been registered in your name, because registries do not refund it.
• If the registry does not accept the registration, the domain amount and its connection fee are refunded automatically in full to your original payment method.
• The connection fee (₹199 or ₹399 + 18% GST) is non-refundable once we have connected the domain. If we cannot connect it, we fix it, or refund the fee in full.
• Domain renewals are charged only when you pay the renewal we send before the domain expires; the renewal price is shown before you buy. If it is not paid, the domain is not renewed. If we are unable to renew a domain you paid to renew, we refund the renewal in full.

Done-for-you services and quote-only projects

This section covers the services we do for you: 10 extra changes (₹499 + 18% GST); Google Business Profile setup & verification help (₹3,999 + 18% GST); Automation setup, done for you (per automation) (₹2,999 + 18% GST); Business app setup, done for you (per app) (₹3,999 + 18% GST); Social media setup (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business profile) (₹4,999 + 18% GST); Social media management (₹29,999 + 18% GST/month); SEO pro setup (₹2,499 + 18% GST). It also covers quote-only projects (custom websites, web apps or SaaS, custom Android apps, WhatsApp automation, AI voice agents, Meta ads management) and idea-validation tests. Each order is one piece of work. Social media management and ads management are bought month by month.

Packages. Packages are no longer on sale. For anyone who bought one earlier: Starter Launch (₹11,499 + 18% GST); Growth Launch (₹32,999 + 18% GST); Idea to Launch (₹8,999 + 18% GST) are bundles of products, bought in one payment and set up from your dashboard. The same rules apply to each part: no refund once paid, a full refund if we cancel or fail to deliver or you were charged twice by mistake, and we fix or redo anything that goes wrong on our side. In Idea to Launch, the payment does not start the Website plan: you start it yourself within 60 days after your idea-test verdict. If you do not start it in time it is not used, and that part is not refunded.

The rules

1. No refunds once you have paid. Please ask us your questions before you pay, by email at animesh@firmgenie.in.
2. If we cancel or fail to deliver, we refund in full. Your order shows a target delivery date, counted from the day we received your payment. Days we spend waiting for details from you do not count.
3. If something goes wrong on our side, we fix it, redo it, or move your booking to another date at no cost.
4. Third-party fees. Government fees, domain registration fees, ad budget and other amounts paid to others on your behalf are not refundable once paid. The one exception is the automatic domain refund described under Domains above.
5. Approvals are not ours to give. Google, Meta, banks, payment gateways and government portals decide approvals, not us, and we do not promise any approval or any result. If an approval is refused after we have finished the agreed work, the fee is not refunded.
6. Monthly services. You buy them one month at a time. Nothing is charged automatically. You can stop any time before the next month starts. A month that has already started is not refunded.
7. How to ask. Email animesh@firmgenie.in with your order number. Refunds that we owe you go back to your original payment method in the time given under How refunds are paid below, and we email you a GST credit note.

How refunds are paid

• Where we owe you a refund, it goes back to the same payment method through Cashfree Payments. We start the refund within 2 working days of approving it, and banks usually take 5–7 working days to show it. A refund returns the amount you actually paid for what is refunded, including its 18% GST.
• For every refund we issue a GST credit note against your original invoice and email it to you.

Charged twice or wrongly?

Email animesh@firmgenie.in with the order number from your receipt. We reply within 1 working day and resolve it within 15 days. A double charge made by mistake is always refunded in full.
